WHO? Town of Lyons residents and our neighbors in unincorporated Boulder County.
The Town of Lyons is partnering with Boulder County, Blue Star Electronics, Cemex and Galvanize Recycling to host a Spring Diversion Day Event on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 9 a.m. - noon. This will be held at the Public Works Facility, 4687 Ute Highway for Town of Lyons residents and our neighbors in unincorporated Boulder County.

Latex and Oil-based Paint will be accepted by Boulder County's Hazardous Materials Management Facility Staff at no charge.
Blue Star Recycling will be on hand for computers, cords, tvs, monitors etc. Electronic waste (monitors and tvs) will be accepted at a charge per pound and each participant is responsible for their fees.
Yard waste will be accepted as well. Please bring any large limbs to the limb drop off and chipping event the week before, which is powered by Lyons Fire Protection District and Boulder County Wildfire Partners.
Please view the list below of accepted and not accepted materials, as well as any additional charges. Only credit or debit card will be accepted.
Thanks to our partners at Boulder County, Galvanize, Cemex and Blue Star Electronic Recycling. This event is for Town of Lyons Residents and our neighbors in unincorporated Boulder County. You will need to show proof of residence in our area (utility bill preferred or driver's license) and you MUST sign up in advance. No commercial or business use. NO TRASH.
