New North Side Mural
Lyons Mural North Wall
World renowned and Lyons local artist Android Jones and his team have recently installed an extension to the iconic mural, now wrapping around the north side of Lyons Town Hall. With support of the Lyons Arts and Humanities Commission (LAHC), and private funding including Cemex, this dramatic installation is a striking example of creativity. The mural incorporates local wildlife including a bear, rattlesnake, hummingbird and swallowtail butterfly with images of iconic Lyons activities including music, fly-fishing, pinball, river tubing, and kayaking.

Visitors can stop to play "I spy" to discover all the elements depicting life in Lyons. The north side will be visible from Railroad Ave, giving travelers a glimpse of what makes Lyons unique, also offering residents and guests a striking mural to enjoy while walking to and from our parks and throughout town.

Android Jones and his family are Lyons locals. Android’s work has been projected on the Sydney Opera House, the Empire State Building, and has been featured in the Smithsonian Museum. The LAHC is thrilled to be working with this dynamic artist to expand on this permanent addition to Lyons’ outdoor art collection and recognize this creative homegrown talent.
