Parking

The Town of Lyons charges a parking fee at LaVern M. Johnson Park and Bohn Park.

The parking fee is $2 per hour on weekdays and off-season (October - April) weekends, and $3 per hour on peak-season (May - September) weekends. The total capacity in the park is limited to the amount of parking capacity. We appreciate your patience and guests may need to wait to enter the park when it has reached capacity.

The Daily Parking Fee must be paid at the kiosks within the parking area. Please put the payment receipt on your dashboard. Full instructions are on the kiosk. The kiosks take cash bills, coins and credit/debit card payment.

Paid parking is required daily, 365 days a year.  Parking fees help to support the park amenities. Please ask parks staff if you have any questions.

Town of Lyons Resident
Parking Pass for Town Parks

One complimentary annual resident parking pass will be issued to one vehicle per Lyons household that requests a parking pass.  The resident parking pass will be mailed once proof of residency and vehicle information is provided. Please secure your parking pass in the lower corner (passenger side) of your windshield. Please note that residency is proven by showing a Town of Lyons utility bill.

The annual parking pass is valid January 1 - Dec 31.

Town of Lyons residents may purchase a second pass for another vehicle for $40. Should you require a third resident-vehicle pass, the cost is $55.

Non-residents (those who do not receive Town of Lyons utilities) may purchase a season parking pass for a flat rate of $80 per vehicle at Town Hall.

Vehicles must have the parking pass displayed at all times when parked in LaVern M. Johnson or Bohn Parks to avoid a violation fee. Golf carts are required to pay parking fees, as well; residents may use the one free parking pass on golf carts, or purchase an additional resident parking pass.

To obtain your parking pass apply online. You may also stop at Town Hall.
