McConnell Bridge Grand Opening

The Town is excited to announce McConnell Bridge's grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 8! All are invited. Join representatives from the offices of Senator Bennet, Senator Gardner, Colorado Department of Local Affairs, FEMA, Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, along with local residents and officials.

The opening celebration will be held at the site, on the western side (near homes and neighborhood) beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be brief ribbon cutting ceremony, welcoming statements and light refreshments. It would be fun to kick off the event, Lyons-style with golf carts crossing first. If you plan on attending and have a golf cart, join in the celebration as the first vehicles across.

While the bridge will remain open to traffic after the Grand Opening, contractors will still be on site for 2-3 additional weeks, closing final punch list items. Please be cautious of the ongoing work and personnel presence during this time.
