Stone Mountain Fire

Earlier this afternoon Lyons Fire Protection District issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION  for residents on Stone Canyon and Eagle Ridge Rd as well as areas north of Lyons in unincorporated Boulder County and Larimer County

The fire is moving very quickly. All residents should get prepared to evacuate should it be necessary. Put their important items together for their Go Bag, should anything change, which can happen very quickly. We have linked to a wildfire evacuation checklist.

Now is a good time to ensure all your phones are charged. It is very possible that the areas under Mandatory Evacuation may lose electric power. Power has already been de-energized for Stone Canyon.
