Stone Mountain Fire

Earlier this afternoon Lyons Fire Protection District issued a MANDATORY EVACUATION  for residents on Stone Canyon and Eagle Ridge Rd. 

Please note that Eagle Ridge Rd is the dirt road in unincorporated Boulder County that intersects up on the ridge with Stone Canyon Rd (after Stone Canyon Rd turns to dirt).
At this time no other areas are under a mandatory evacuation. 

All residents should get prepared to evacuate should it be necessary. Put their important items together for their Go Bag, should anything change, which can happen very quickly. We have linked to a wildfire evacuation checklist.

Now is a good time to ensure all your phones are charged. It is very possible that the areas under Mandatory Evacuation may lose electric power.

Please do not call 911 about the fire unless you are in immediate danger.
